What Others Are Saying...
Planning a womenβs retreat with Laura AcuΓ±a is a blessing that will stay with me for years to come. Aside from her topic that was perfect for our group and her generosity in planning our retreat, it was the fellowship that we shared that made the greatest impact. Lauraβs love for the Lord is evident in all that she says and does. Her knowledge of scripture showed me how passionate she is about her calling and her warm, loving personality made me want to be her friend. Her story is one that every woman can relate to. All of Lauraβs qualities translated into an extraordinary event that made every woman feel loved.
From the first time I heard Laura speak at our church’s women’s retreat, I was drawn in by her vulnerability and her passion for sharing God’s truth. She is authentic and her story is relevant and relatable. Laura went above and beyond to connect with her audience, even sacrificing her breaks between sessions to patiently listen as other women poured out their hearts and shared their own stories. Since then, I have had the privilege of participating in many of Laura’s women’s ministry events, and every time I leave feeling encouraged to make positive changes and move into a closer relationship with Jesus. I highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for an impactful, inspiring message deeply rooted in God’s Word.
The first time I heard Laura communicate, my exact response was ‘Wow’! Laura’s teaching style is passionate, relatable, and hope-filled. She radiates warmth, kindness and a genuine interest in those around her — on and off the platform. Her amazing story of transformation, coupled with her solid biblical teaching, will leave you also saying “wow!” If you’re looking for a dynamic communicator, Laura has my highest recommendation!
Laura lovingly connects with her audience, as she weaves biblical applications through her life story. Thank you, Laura, for your transparency on hard issues that offers permission for those who need enhanced growth opportunities from the Word!

Other than Pat and I taking an hour-long drive through the battlefields, the Eisenhower Farm, and finding Sachs Covered Bridge before the sleet and ice rolled in, Iβve been parked here most of the day (the same spot I shared this morning π). Itβs been strange not having anything I need to do - but also really, really nice. I love my porch - itβs toasty and warm out here!
Tomorrow is full: visiting family and Old Line Tailgate Co., babysitting Evie, and all the things. But today has been very quiet, and Iβve loved it. Iβve spent hours watching the wildlife out back, hoping one of the many bald eagles around here would make an appearanceβ¦not yet. Still waiting. π¦

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end. Isaiah 9:6-7 π
