Filling in the Blanks
One thing is for sure, the good Lord is always providing opportunities to develop a more humble spirit within me. I’ve learned that if I don’t willingly submit myself to areas where He is emphasizing humility, it will not go well for me. He’ll bring situations and people into my life to nudge me toward His will for my inner self. He will allow those situations to get louder and, dare I say, more painful until I pay attention.

For He Himself is our peace. – Ephesians 2:14 Oh, my goodness. Overnight, the calendar turned to December 26th and with it, Christmas carols are off the radio and everything is about bargain shopping, goal setting, and resolutions. Let me remind you – the season of Christmas only began yesterday and goes until Epiphany –…

Hello Girlfriends, At the very beginning of our COVID quarantine, I made a video devotion asking the question, “Are you a thermometer or a thermostat?” We’ve been through so much since then. Our reaction to such stressful times mattered then and it matters now. So, on the eve of an incredibly volatile election, the question…

If you are such a woman, know that you are not invisible to God – He sees you, knows you and loves you. – Laura
