Hi Friends,
My heart has been heavy for those who don’t know Jesus. You too? I have never encountered so many who are afraid all at the same time. The only thing I can liken it to is 9/11, and that was almost 20 years ago.
I am sure our multi-tasking God is working and moving in many ways during this crisis. We may never know them all, but one thing is for sure – He is calling out to those who are far from Him, and calling believers to be ready and willing to give a reason for the hope that we possess. 1 Peter 3:15 tells us:
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that is within you. But do this with gentleness and respect…
It is in this spirit I am sharing a story that is very dear to me.
What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish. – Matthew 18:12-14
Praying our trust muscles are strengthened as we share the hope we have within us.
Love to all,
